Age eligibility:
Max. 25 years since 07/01/2012.
Relaxation Age: 5 years for SC / ST / PD candidates and 3 years for OBC (non creamy layer).
Academic Eligibility:
Full time Engineering for the Degree with BE / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg) in 2011 which has passed or is passing in mid 2012.
Min. 65% (all semesters or years, till last result declared) for all categories.
Min. CGPA: (if the results are declared at the point of quality instead of% age)
10-point scale: 7.0
9 five-point scale: 6.0
8 five-point scale: 5.3
7-point scale: 4.6
6-point scale: 4.0
5-point scale: 3.3
4-point scale: 2.5
Eligible disciplines:
1. Mechanical

3. Civil
4. Electric
5. Information Technology / Computing
University degrees should be from a recognized institute / university.
EIL salary for Management Trainee:
Salary for management trainees:
Allocation of Rs 25,000 / - pm and other benefits. CTC: (Approx.) Rs.3.75 LACS P.A.
This salary / allowance for the training period of 1 year, after which MT would be offered salary for engineers as below.
Salary for engineers:
Pay scale of Rs.24900-50500. CTC: (Approx.) Rs 9.0 LACS per annum
The selection process for the EIL management trainee: MT EIL would be chosen through a written test first, followed by interview. The written test is likely to be carried out in July 2012.
Written examination will be conducted in the testing centers after city / cities:
Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Vadodara.
EIL MT exams in 2012 important dates:

Date of last entry for EIL MT 2012 review: 25.05.2012.
