SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR INDO-TIBETAN BORDER POLICE FORCE

Recruitment for filling up the backlog vacancies in the post of Constable
(General Duty) Group ‘C’, for male Indian citizens belonging to BORDER
DISTRICTS OF HIMACHAL PRADESH in the ITBP as mentioned at para 5 (a), will
be carried out through LOCAL RALLY SYSTEM. The post has All India liability and
selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the
candidate shall be governed under the Act and Rules of respective Force.

2. A pre-training (preparatory training) to guide the eligible and willing candidates
belonging to Lahaul & Spiti and Kinnaur Districts will be organized w.e.f. 03/06/2013 to
02/07/2013 at designated centres as given at para 5 (b) below.

3. PAY SCALE AND OTHER ALLOWANCES:-
a) Pay Scale - Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month.
b) Other allowances: The post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money,
Washing Allowance as admissible from time to time, Special Compensatory
Allowance while posted in specified border areas, free uniform, free
accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Free leave pass and any other
allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/instructions.

They will be covered under new restructured defined contributory pension scheme.

Coal India Limited Recruitment 2012

The Coal India Limited (CIL) is call for applications to recruit management trainees in various disciplines.
Candidates can apply only by online registration system of Coal India Ltd. The site will remain functional from May 21, 2012 10:00 to 23:59 of June 11, 2012.
The written test will be of three hours duration consisting of two newspapers both of what will be in the form of multiple choice questions (MCQs). Paper I will consist of multiple choice questions on general awareness and ability and Paper II will consist of multiple choice questions on the technical ability in the discipline for which the candidate applies. Each document consists of 100 questions with 100 points. Test questions will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
Eligible applicants will be required to appear in the selection test All India at their own expense and only candidates eligible for written test will be invited for a personal interview in the ratio 1:3 without losing sight of the last provision of reservation for SC / ST / OBC / PH.
The test will take place in Kolkata, Ranchi, Mumbai, Bhubaneshwar, Srinagar, Guwahati, Raipur, Bhopal, Lucknow, Delhi, Jaipur, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangluru. Candidates will have to choose an examination center in the preferred list and can not be changed after the form is submitted.
Candidates belonging to General / OBC (NCL) are required to pay a nonrefundable fee of 500 rupees. SC / ST / PH / employees of Coal India Ltd. and its subsidiaries are exempted from payment of application fee.
State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the filing fee in a special account number 32306580317 Jyoti Power opened on behalf of Coal India. Applicants must address the proximity of the SBI branch with a printout of the challan which is available on the portal application for registration of Coal India.

CBSE Results 2012 to be declared soon

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results for class X and XII will be announed soon. The buzz is all around the CBSE would declare the results of class X today but there is no official confirmation of CBSE on the exact date of the declaration of results.

UPSC to conduct separate examinations to fill vacancies of IPS

NEW DELHI: The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) will hold three days of exclusive tests beginning May 20 to fill some of the more than 1,300 vacancies in the IPS (Indian Police Service ) officers across the country.

The Indian Police Service limited competitive examination (LCE) in 2012 will be held May 20, 21 and 22 in seven centers - Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata and Nagpur.

Officials said the FTA will second option for the side entrance in the IPS by officers working in the armed forces, paramilitary and Central Police State, among others.

As per the eligibility criteria, an officer who has completed five years of continuous service and real as deputy superintendent of police in the states under the State Police Service, Deputy Commanders in CPMFs, or officers of rank of captain or major or equivalent in the armed forces who have an impeccable record of service are eligible to take the exams.

States face a shortage of IPS officers until 1327. Union Home Secretary RK Singh told a parliamentary committee last month that the real strength of IPS officers in the country was 3393 against sanctioned strength of 4720.

"All candidates deemed eligible were issued admit cards by e-mail. Candidates may also download the e-Admit Card from the website of the Commission to http://www.upsc.gov.in," the Department Personnel and Training said in a statement released today.
